POKER PLAYERS

This is a list of poker players and other people who have had a major influence on poker, as well as otherwise notable people who were known to be avid poker players.
Patrik Antonius (born December 13, 1980) is a Finnish professional poker player, tennis coach and model from Helsinki.

Antonius began making a name for himself on the poker tournament circuit with two finishes near the final table of World Poker Tour (WPT) events in early 2005. He went on to finish in the money in three events of the 2005 World Series of Poker (WSOP).

In September 2005 he made his first European Poker Tour (EPT) final table, finishing 3rd in Barcelona. The next month, Antonius won the EPT event in Baden, taking home the €343,366 first prize.

In December 2005 he finished off the year by finishing 2nd in the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic in Las Vegas, Nevada, winning $1,046,470.

As of 2005, his total live tournament winnings exceed $1,640,000.

Bobby "The Owl" Baldwin is a professional poker player and casino executive.

When Baldwin won the 1978 World Series of Poker main event he became the youngest winner in its history, to be superseded by Stu Ungar in 1980and then Phil Hellmuth in 1989. His major wins include four WSOP titles, all won from 1977 to 1979. In 2003 he was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame.

In 1982 he became a consultant for the Golden Nugget casino, and in 1984 was named the president. He was selected to head The Mirage in 1987 and was named as the president of the Bellagio hotel and casino in 1998. In 1999-2000 he was also the Chief Financial Officer of Mirage Resorts under Steve Wynn; in 2000, upon the merger of Mirage Resorts and MGM Grand, he became the Chief Executive Officer of the Mirage Resorts subsidiary of MGM MIRAGE.

Paul "Eskimo" Clark (born June 2 in New Orleans, Louisiana) is an American professional poker, living in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Before turning to poker, Clark was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he worked as a medic. Clark first finished in the money at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the 1988 limit omaha event.

He has won three bracelets at the WSOP:

1992 $5,000 seven card stud - $122,000
1999 $1,500 seven card razz - $84,610
2002 $1,500 seven card stud hi/lo split - $125,200
He has also made money finishes in the $10,000 No Limit Hold'em main event in 1997 (19th) and 1998 (25th) where he was eliminated with pocket Aces.


Barbara Enright is an American professional poker player, motivational speaker, and Editor-in-Chief of Woman Poker Player magazine.

Enright began playing poker at home at the age of 4, playing five card draw against her older brother. She started playing in cardrooms in 1976. In the same year she was diagnosed as a sufferer of Lupus erythematosus.

She is best-known as the only female to have reached the final table of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) $10,000 no limit hold'em main event. She achieved this in 1995, finishing in 5th place after her pocket Queens were outdrawn by a 6-3 offsuit. She also finished in the money in the 2005 main event, having qualified through a $10 online satellite.
